How fun was that to witness the play's rehearsal! Never know what happens in small towns of America so this is fun to see. One comment was the Ozarks were a piece of cake and another comment they were difficult - where are your thoughts about the Ozarks? Glad you are past them now and hopefully will have some flatter ground for the next few days. Hope the temp cools down abit for you also. Be safe.

Hey guys. Jeff here. I met you all yesterday. I'm doing the TransAm eastbound and doing the tree survey.

anyway, i was looking at your list, and I just thought i'd recomend some stuff about Yosemite. You might already know this stuff, but if not...

So the best place to camp in Yosemite Vally is Camp 4. It's a walk in camp, so you might have to get up early to get a spot there. i've waited in line at like 5 am. but you might not...it just depends when you get there. definately stay at camp 4. it's where all the rock climbers hang out. i basically lived there last summer. you will meet people from all over the world. so good. so so good.

and as far as hiking: if you have time, try to hike the cables route up Half Dome. it's a long day hike, but you guys are in shape and you'll be fine. but it's probably the best hike in the whole Valley.

You might know about Camp 4 and Half Dome already, like i said, but if not, i will feel good about letting you know. As you can tell, i love Yosemite. and you can't go wrong with Half Dome and Camp 4.

ps, i stayed at the Horse Creek Inn (Houston Motel) last night. it was sweet. Pony was happy to have the key back. ok, i gotta start biking.

I saw the picture of you with two hamburgers, onion rings, etc. Is that supposed to be a lot? C'mon - anyone who knows you is aware that is just an appetizer on a normal day!
